Really is amazing isn’t it. Can you imagine if Richarlison had done that when he played for us. I think the reaction might have been a bit different.

I think Diaz is an excellent player but, as you say, how prolific will he be? Firmino has lost a yard and Jota, whilst nicking a fair amount of goals, has some of their fans giving him 3/10 for his performances. Salah is probably still in the top drawer but they can't rely on him for 50 games. The signs aren't good for them at the moment, especially with Henderson and Thiago creaking. A fair bit probably rests on how Elliott and Carvalho settle in, but I feel if De Bruyne stays fit then it likely won't matter.

Salah has got his £450k per week retirement pot and lost his dream of getting a move to an elite club in his prime.

His movement last night suggested he was happy to have a pop if in range but not much more than that.

The loss of day to day competition in Mane and the fact him and his agent have successfully held Liverpool to ransom with a long, public, contract dispute, make it hard to imagine a Mo Salah who’s best days are ahead of him.

They are a dangerous cult that have been fed a diet of entitlement and unending success for close on five years. Every single weekend it’s been winners whenever they need them, praise in the media, them laughing at rival teams, they’ve barely had a major moment go against them for years.

When it has though you can see the instant responses: wanting referees banned, massive propaganda exercises to have players marked as divers, death threats on social media.

If they’re not at the title winning/CL winning level this season their fanbase is going to explode. One massively overentitled powder keg ready to blow.

I feel like rescinding the ban is a harsher punishment for the rs.

Just want a massive 85 million pound flop so the media will shut up about how Klopp has never made a bad signing*

I confess that I genuinely enjoy the outrage and gnashing of teeth after a 'perceived slight'. It's my favourite bit. The next time he gets sent off will be even better! I predict a march AND a demand that parliament take action! Calling it now!
