An absolute nap that the Establishment Klub's media will turn this into a "the officials need to protect Darwin from being exploited by defenders" crusade.

A lad from the barrio being provoked into lashing out like a bear being poked at in a cage.

They'll defo turn this vice into a virtue. We all know it.
spot on, and the irony is that Anderson was only doing what any half decent centre half does, the much vaunted Set Virgil of the One Knee, who throws his weight around showing people he's 'the daddy'. Remember that?
Hypocrites, but why would they notice that?

The real issue with Nunez is not going to be temperament in the end, it's going to be quality. I suspect the Kopites have seen enough now to realise that they sold Mane and got a player in who's got a thimbleful of his talent.

He's just a big lad with a terrible touch.

As I said in the match thread, I've not seen him hit a ball cleanly once. Miskicks, scuffs, off-target, mistimed.

VD caused the melee in that Derby by his wild antics fouling on the wing... and ironically (or karma) ended up crocked. His St Virgil trophy is somewhat tarnished for some time now by the man himself and some very ordinary and wobbly efforts on his part.

I think he will score 15+ in the league but so would Rondon playing for them.

He's miles off the quality of Mane or the bitey racist Uruguayan.

Yeah i guess so, even if it was almost 30 years ago
i don't think its happened to another football player in the English leagues before or after Ferguson if it has it hasn't been a player in the top divisions, and I certainly don't think theres been another instance when a player has had to do jail from an incident that happened in a football fixture. Fergusons might have been a better headbutt but still a headbutt means a headbutt in any language, there's been loads in games since Ferguson, nowhere near jailtime levels of punishment, Duncan should call saul and sue somebody for something.
