It's bollocks too.
They know their own club is one of the biggest spending clubs on the planet.
Some really unhappy pinkies in work today, bleating and crying about dat oil club winning the treble.
Had to pipe them down regarding spending money on players when they are one of the biggest spenders going (gakpoo/Nunez/Jota/now Kevin macallister) and also the moral high ground, which city have owned them in as well.
This final, Zero reports of any unrest, blag ticketing issues, problems entering the ground, stealing tickets off their own fans, fighting police or tear gas deployment.
I said to them the worlds a much nicer place when liberpewl fc don’t reach finals, no trouble and zero murders, should happen every year.
It was the same with sir Alex, once he went the weren't the same.
I’m guessing they made them finals by the power of the kloopzade juice and a diet of Juergen jumpin beansExactly, Guardiola is doing exactly what he did at Barcelona and Bayern.
Barca won two CLs in three years.
Bayern he had lesser players but again continued to make the semi finals being edged out a few times (which is what was happening at City early on). I’m sure if he’d stayed at Bayern for 7 seasons he would have won it there eventually.
He wins one CL in 7 seasons at City though and all of a sudden football is over and the game is destroyed? A complete over reaction by a crying kopite media.
The way that competition is structured if you keep qualifying every season eventually you’ll probably end up in a final. All the sky six english teams have even Spurs. Juventus and both Milan teams have, all the big three in Spain have recently, Bayern and Dortmund have, PSG has.
What would have been stranger is if City didn’t win it. They assembled a good group of players under the best manager in the world and qualify every year. It was only a matter of time and quite frankly 1 win in 7 seasons is nothing at all to start on the ‘they’re ruining football’ argument.
A better question is how an absolutely bang average Liverpool side has been to the same number of CL finals in the last 6 years as City and PSG (who are ruining football and making it u fair for everyone else) combined.
Surely Stevie Mee would never werk for dem oil clubs lid?
Guardiola is fantastic, no disputing that. But the Bayern team he took over had just won't the champions league and blown Barca away in the semi finals. I think that team was ready made to go on an win it again as they were brilliant.Exactly, Guardiola is doing exactly what he did at Barcelona and Bayern.
