Match of the Day 2's Mark Chapman, Jermaine Jenas and Stephen Warnock discuss how
I remember saying on here when he first broke through that he couldn’t defend… I’ve kept saying the same thing for the past few years and had every kopite and his dog telling me he’s ‘der bestest full back in der weerrrlldd’…. Lo and behold, england squad named this week, where’s cafudini ? Listed as a midfielder 😂

He’s had his usual tactical injury whenever England squads are called and there’s not a tournament imminent. Will be back for Liverpool though once it’s over and will have big reds media acolytes pushing Southgate to take ‘Trent’ when the next tournament comes along even though he’s barely bothered to show up for 2 years.

Salah. Sure he's a good player, but he is 31. He is a muslim so is no doubt also very marketable in Saudi. But rumours of an upped bid of around 200 million quid for him?

Is there some sort of money laundering going on behind the scenes, or are the Saudis just flexing as hard as they can to try and tempt their regions biggest sports star into their league?

Same as what they've paid for Neymar, really in order for them to attract players to such a league they need to be paying big $, they have it. I do think it's about bringing the best to them. Profits are not a huge priority

He's not available for England. Better just forfeit I think. No chance without him.

I had wondered who this “Trent” guy is, but last week I was enlightened when I started watching “ Ted Lasso” and was introduced to Trent Crimm , the Independent’s reporter in the first series. Nice man, I like him.
