ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

He doesn't really believe it he's just trying to make himself feel better.
Excuse me, I think the burden of explaining how a club that's won 1* title in 34 years is going to win it this season with that putrid defence.

They've had well better teams than this in recent memory and still not won it.

Over to you.

I'm not saying this is their best team, it patently isn't. The defence isn't great and the midfield is workmanlike at best. But they score a lot of goals and they always find a way to win. City are lacking motivation and I don't think they'll find it in time. Arsenal will fail to score in a few games due to not having an out and out goalscorer. I just don't see them not winning it, but I hope I'm wrong.

That's not true though is it? The most difficult games are away to Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and Man United. They have played 4 of them already, nobody else has of the contenders I don't think. If they get the same results in their remaining games as they have in most of the last 5 seasons they will easily win the league. The only hope is that they aren't the team they were, but neither are City.

Newcastle and Villa don't count as one of the toughest away games this season then? Ok.

Liverpool have been away to Newcastle, City, Spurs, Chelsea.

City have been away to United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Villa.

Arsenal have been away to Chelsea, Newcastle, Villa.

I cant see where you're getting this argument from that Liverpool "have got all the toughest games out the way" in relation to the other two in the shake up.

Maybe you can tell us?

Mid-February City will be back on top of this league table.

Must admit I thought they already drew at Arsenal. So they still have to go to Arsenal. Villa away is their last game so probably won't matter. Arsenal have harder away fixtures and I just don't see the hunger in City, although they've come back before. I just think with no other distractions the rs will win it comfortably.

That's some statement to make about a team that have stumbled their way through three of their last PL games and had a huge hand from officials.

Matip limping out for the season cooked their goose.

City will spend again in January and reel Liverpool back in.

City by about 5-8 points followed by Arsenal then Liverpool.

They need to lose a game soon, to burst their bubble. Otherwise momentum will be strong for them
