ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Is it just me who thinks nunez is actually good? Id love him here tbf

He was always a good player, you don’t get the profile he had at Benfica and with the Uruguayan national team by being poor. It’s just the difference in media perceptions that annoy people. If anyone else had bought a striker for the best part of 90 million he wouldn’t be getting eulogised for running channels and missing sitters. No one ever said he was a bad player, but the media just can’t admit that at the moment his performances don’t reflect the price tag.

Net spend makes him cost around just a tenner though, Boss bit of business once again by the RS

He'd be idolised here...
Its fun to laugh because its them and he cost a fortune, and he misses some shockers...
But we'd be made up if one of ours scored as many

If you think if we would have spent £80m on a striker who is being outscored by Doucoure and he would be “idolised” then am afraid you need to put down the Pritt Stick old bean.

There's one small thing to bear in mind when people start saying how pleased we'd be if we had Nunez here...

Maybe so. But being an improvement on the current Everton strike force has been a pretty low bar in recent years... It not the most ringing of endorsements being better than Maupay or Rondon, or being fit more often than Weetabix Calvert Lewin :)

For the money he cost and the service he gets, he's useless. They might as well have kept Origi.

He has 2 problems.

1. The price tag
2. He was signed at the same time as Haaland and RS idiots said he was a better buy as consequently keeps getting unfavourably compared to him
