ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The withdrawals from the kloppozade are quite telling imo.

They looked totally flat for much of the match, a total lack of their usual intensity. They normally run us into the ground like they do most teams, but this was just like they have been for a while and on the previous occasions when they are cycling off, like the BCD Carlo win at Mordor.

When we get to play them with a straight deck we over power them, very interesting.
Klopps changes also showed this. All he knows is energy.

The two full backs for two centre backs when two goals down is bonkers unless all you care about is getting your two next doped up marathon runners on to try and outrun the opponents.

That Sobboshlai fella proper catfished them didn’t he. They were honestly comparing him to De Bruyne in the first month of the season and saying he was a better signing than Bellingham.

Him, Macallister, Arnold, VVD, Konate, Jones, Salah, Nunez, absolutely dreadful.

I'd say only Allison, Diaz and smack rat looked remotely like they were up for a battle last night.

I think he is an absolute donkey who wouldn’t get a game for Crystal Palace, he’s another one they had a brief spell of raving about because they’re incapable of acknowledging that sometimes they sign turkeys.

I was also thinking last night Mike, before the game I said to my lad "all day the news has been about Klopps successor and I think it'll play into our hands. I think that would have been on the players minds, I don't think Klopp would have been happy that there was talk of his successor whilst he is still in charge".

They looked deflated from the off. Of course they had moments, they've got a lot of quality but they looked like they'd been beaten very early into last night's games.

It was great to see :)

He couldn't cope last night, so funny watching VVD try and stay 10 yards away from Konate so that he'd get all the blame lol

When they’re on it then they have the best fullbacks of all time, the best CB of all time, Konate is a mountain, Szoboslai is world class, so is McAllister, Jones and Elliot are having the better of Rodri and De Bruyne, and their front five are all unplayable.

So weird those seasons when they’re not on it and every single player apart from Allison looks absolutely dog turd. Where have all those bionic kids from the league cup final gone as well?

Slot’s got a job on his hands here because that squad is absolutely bang average and has been papering over the cracks with a lot of drugs and a good keeper.

Yes mate, That’s all he’s ever done, doped up monsters running a hundred miles an hour for 100+ mins, suffocating teams and forcing mistakes.

Without the drugs they can’t get the foothold in the oppos half, or recover from their kamikaze high line properly when they inevitably cock it up.

The ball over the top is always on, and they got away with a few last night.

….and don’t forget we missed opportunities. A number of free kicks could’ve been converted and McNeil had a fine opportunity in 2nd half.
