I really hope you are right mate and I agree with everything you say all logic points to what you say.

For Liverpool to win the league from here three unlikely things all need to happen.

1. Arsenal need to slip up twice in their last 4 games. Admittedly this isn't impossible with trips to spurs and united.

2. City need to slip up twice in their last 5 games (and one of those slip ups needs to be a defeat).

3. Liverpool need to win all remaining games. They're in terrible form, look completely knackered, and have to go to West ham and villa.

I'm not sure which of the latter two is more implausible but either way, the chances of all three happening is miniscule bordering on impossible.

So sit back, grab a beer, relax and enjoy the next few weeks as the RS live through the agony of what might have been (while telling anyone who'll listen that they were never really contenders - who are they kidding??)

So they all want City to win the league now, because Arsenal winning it would put a pin in their theory that the league is rigged in favour of City. They want to dine out on the theory that City were cheats and only Big Yerg’s socialist redmen could come close to stopping them all along.
