ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

8 years:

1 CL win over a bottling Spurs team
1 Covid *title

...hands over a team of veterans and donkeys to Buster Bloodvessel.

🎼"I'm so glad he delivered what he said. I'm so glad that Jurgen is a red..."🎼
Got into an argument with some RS divvy who said Klopp was comparable with Paisley and Shankly. RS have a habit of rewriting history, it took them until years after Benitez left to accept he won 2 penalty shootouts, his 2 trophies were simply flukes. Klopp lost 2 finals in his first season against an average City and a home game essentially v Sevilla. Lost 3rd final in Kiev, then Liverpool lost 3 group games, Napoli screwed it up in Belgrade, so Liverpool go through. I'm still convinced Barca game was fixed, as Barcas left back had zero pressure nobody around him, yet gave it to Henderson. Barcas players didn't seem bothered and of course Spurs just hand Klopp a trophy. Liverpool messed up league that season and only won asterix title because of VAR. His success is not comparable to Paisleys when it was an honest game played by honest people, when even when we were useless and United were, we still gave them a game. He's benefited from the simple fact, a lot of teams, Wolves, Palace, Bournemouth, Villa, West Ham, Spurs, Arsenal, Brentford, Fulham certain other teams were quite happy to just let them win ,rather than giving them a game. He's benefited from United, Spurs, Chelsea, Us, Arsenal until recently being appallingly run, so he nobody to challenge him. Recently managers have noticed what everyone on here has noticed for years, if you don't give them space in behind, they aren't that dangerous, they are a Sunday League side doped up. You can see it in how not 1 of Klopps RS players has had any success after leaving Liverpool. I think that Klopp understood drugs no longer work, Salah looks crocked I think VVD will probably retire in summer, but I suppose Wolves will just lie down and give him a going away win, to please Sky Sports.

K’in ell, even as an Evertonian I’ve got enough about me to begrudgingly admits that Paisley is one of the best. Klopp isn’t even close.

Just tell him that Howard Kendall won more leagues than Jurgen Klopp. Should do the trick

The klopptonites live in their own little community called jurgenville. They see only one colour and play in a world were they only ever win.

That era Barcelona were bent as a nine bob note. Corrupt to the core: paying off refs and fraudulent management. It wouldn't surprise me at all if those two legs were part of a betting scandal.

Not one bit.

I'm getting a bit sick of hseeibg them constantly writing that we chant about Hillsborough, I never hear it, never see it attached to a real name, just see it hidden behind a pseudonym.

Rats
The manslaughterers have succeeded in expunging the name Heysel from the football lexicon.

THAT is how much clout they have as the Establishment Club in the British media.

Clapton wrote the longer initial section of “Layla” but the part featured in Goodfellas was the piano-led coda, which was written by the drummer, Jim Gordon, so it’s okay to keep liking it. Gordon later murdered his elderly mother but he was mentally ill, and thus remains morally preferable to nasty bigot Clapton.

I guess that’s a bit off topic. Or is it?
Clapton = Salah, Gordon = Jurgen Shipman?

Shocking how the majority of football-minded Gen Z have never heard of Heysel and need it explained to them. Likewise, the tragedy of Bradford - albeit unconnected - which happened only two weeks earlier. It's as if 1985 as a year has been wiped from the annals of footballing history

Never mentioned by the media in any discussion of 'tragedy chanting' either.

We must never forget what the Kopite manslaughters did in Brussels. It almost happened again in Paris two years ago. I think the two are linked. Forest what that lot are capable of and you run the risk of them killing others.
