ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Expect Chelsea to draw or lose here so that the 3 teams we needed to all win drop points and basically hand Liverpool the title without playing

So just seeing spurs 2 nil, I think it is time to accept that dirty lot will win the league, hopefully I'll just be numb to it when it happens and Everton will be less of an embarrassment come the end of the season.

That said, they look comparable with Martinez first season with us, all the hard work and fitness (inhalers) of the previous manager but with some perceived nicer football. I wouldn't be surprised if next season after the klopp side effects were off, they end up having their worst Premier league finish and the love in falls away.

Edit. 2-1 now, come on Chelsea

well most thought it would of been sloths first season to gel etc

Any slight hope we had is now gone

Its over isnt it
Yes.

TBF it was over in any case. It was over when that story about Coote dropped in a season where Man City are having a calamitous time.

It's a shame, because - like in the asterisk season - Liverpool need a big lead to settle their nerves down. They've cracked loads of times in the past when in a close race United had their number then City had their number and Chelsea had their number. They dont do tight title races.

But, yeah, short of Salah getting a season ending injury it's over.
