ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

It's gonna hurt them badly to see Arnold leave for absolutely nothing. 26 years old now, he's won everything with his boyhood club and won't ever get an opportunity to play for Real or Bayern if he doesn't do it now.

If he signs a new deal he's committing to being a one-club player, which although admirable, I don't think he is. Real Madrid written all over him especially, and it'll probably work out well as he's better offensively than he is defensively and they're generally not needing to defend all that much with the attacking talent they've got.

Now if at least one of Salah or van Dijk followed him out the door that would be hilarious. Last chance for a move for both of them, I can see them both going.
van Dijk was in Dubai this week, and he was spending time with Mbappé. I know this for a fact.

Man if VVS, TAA and MS leave Liverpool for free they're losing about £200m of talent for free. Make it happen, even better if they announce their intentions in January so that it nicely derails their season.

Logically Salah and VVD should be losing some pace and slowing down.

The fact that Liverpool are considering extending the contracts for multiple years, and potentially paying more, for two players who will be 33 and 34 at the end of the season, just shows you that something dodgy is going on in that place.

Yeah you're absolutely right, but they're still at the top of their game and would probably have fetched as much as they paid for them if not more if a Saudi club had decided to go in for them last summer. TAA would easily go for £70m or more imo.

Van Dijk has lost a yard of pace, and Salah is playing for a new contract. He'll drop off once he either gets that or signs a pre-contrsct in January

OK, which one of us said we are gonna win the league and champions league? Own up?

None of us? Strange is that?

Since yesterday, 3 RS mates have said it is all we are going on about. Social media has post from those loveable RS blurts about the same things, god only knows what Rawk are saying about it.

We get a new owner, new stadium, and those who never mention us...erm.. can't stop going on about us ha ha

Afternoon Lurkers!
Tbf, I have seen a couple of our fans on Blue Sky suggest we will win the lot. I will try and find them

I've a feeling that when you've been paid 300+k a week for a few years, renewal of a contract isn't all that big a deal. If its not with the RS it will be with someone else for approx the same, probably more if its in a weak but rich league like Saudi. He's not wondering how he'll pay the bills next season if he doesn't sign a new contract before the end of june.

Maybe this weekend at Spurs they can get a perfectly good goal ruled out by VAR. That actually happened once before, but it went under the radar a bit and nobody talked about it very much, so people have probably forgotten...

The money has run out. They know if they don't renew they'd have to spend to replace. FSG aren't going to put their hands in their pocket.

Bradley is Trent's replacement.

Sad really but they had no sympathy for us when we couldn't replace the likes of Richarlison and Gordon, so sod them. The tables have turned.
