I think them finding it strange we celebrate a last minute equaliser in the derby is because such a large proportion of their fan base is made up of glory hunters and tourists. Those small moments of visceral joy which are an integral part of football are almost foreign to them. They just want to be able to gloat about having won xyz trophy so they can feel special or important. Which isn’t what football is really about.

God the carry on from their players at the final whistle, the filthy classless tramps. They disrespected the occasion of the last derby at Goodison with their antics as well.

What would else would you expect though, from a club that commemorates the Heysel tragedy by having a trophy parade.
