Shows how bad the refereeing in the PL is. Salah dives in extra time and even from behind the ref doesn’t even need to check it, calls it for what it is in real time. In the prem the ref blows for a pen as standard, it’s then a 5 minute VaR check whilst some bloke from St Helens who apparently supports Warrington football club but his entire family supports Liverpool tries to find the angle that doesn’t show the massive gap between the two players, quick still of one frame to the ref on the pitch and it’s not clear and obvious that the original call is wrong, then get wall to wall pundits and media telling anyone who will listen how it looks soft but technically they’re the rules.

Absolutely sick of it, they’ve been bending PL games all season to airlift them the league and the first decent European team has absolutely slapped them silly over two legs because they’ve got an impartial ref.

This team under Slot isn’t winning anything in Europe, it’s an absolute fraud.

The biggest problem is the extreme media bias towards RS, Mouriniho called it out years ago. It's why they get so many favourable decisions in league, because referees are terrified of media reaction. It doesn't work in Europe, because British media have no influence. Because so many RS aren't Scousers, they can pretend to be impartial observers, when they are closet RS. To use obvious example Melissa Reddy, from South Wales, yet supports RS and has appeared on Anfield Wrap. If she was a Scouser, she wouldn't have her job. Look at reporting of their customers antics over the years. Portraying Micheal Shields as victim, yet the honest Reds who were there never told police who committed act. Conveniently forgetting their fans booing Evra for reporting racist abuse. Failing to report that in Athens they were robbing their own fans, stormed turnstiles in Madrid. The fact that fans at other end had no problem with how turnstiles, Police and North Africans, yet RS did wasn't questioned. No reporting of them waving a Steaua Bucharest flag in 2022 at GP and how they stormed turnstiles. Also nobody has questioned why RS sign so many players with Ashtma, since when did it become normal for so many high performing athletes to suffer from Ashtma? Didn't see any exposure of Gerrard telling Clattenburg to give Hibbert a Red, despite the fact that was shown live on TV.
