ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

A member of staff who works at Liverpool, and did not wish to be named, told BBC Sport: "The club call their staff their family - I'm not feeling like a family member.

"Why is a club that turns over [millions of pounds] using a government scheme for its staff when other businesses are more in need of it?

"I feel disappointed and I'm feeling that this government scheme could be used by businesses in trouble."

The member of stuff added that they were "disappointed, especially after Everton said they were not doing it".
Another walks alone...

The mind boggles doesn’t it, 4 million, that’s absolute cheap change to them. They’ll be splurging that on Jurgen’s bonus no problem. They are an absolute stain on the city. Always have been. Remember they turned out their own fans from their homes just to build a bigger stand. Didn’t offer them a proper amount to see them leave, no just ran down the area to force them out on the cheap. Despicable club in every sense of the word. Let them dope and matchfix their way to any trophy the want, imagine saying you support that utter shower.

'Kin ell, can't even spell.

Don't care who anyone supports or has allegiances to, any multi million pound company accessing the furlough is abhorrent.

Is anyone really suprised to see Newcastle, Spurs and Liverpool being some of the first to take advantage. 3 clubs ran by some of the most money first owners on the planet.

They deserve no support from anyone when this horrendous situation hopefully ends.
