Once the Tory Club Always The Tory Club

I know its the England team but look at those great socialist shoite players front and center up maggies anus... Kevin Keegan, Emlyn 'Arselicker' Hughes, Phil 'Big Nose' Thompson, Doc Johnson, Terry 'Pissing on Nurses' McDermott and Phil 'Wheres My Cut' Neal the ultimate grabbing Greedy Barsteward himself. Creepy creepy lickspittles the lot of them.....

If you are protecting your club from going to the wall fair enough, but for what would be roughly a maximum of about 900k is it worth it for a club the size of Liverpool?

I've read on some posts that they are going to make a donation to the NHS and that will make up for it. That sounds like robbing Peter to pay Paul. The money the government doesn't have to pay out they could have used to fund the NHS or trying to save companies that ordinary workers will hopefully go back to when this is over.

How much more is their kit deal bringing in next season compared to this alone...millions upon millions. I've also seen people say well Branson has done this or BA etc. but they aren't still paying the full salary of other staff that run into the hundreds of thousands per week. They should have been able to negotiate with players/coaches to reduce their wages enough to cover the 80%. After tax it would be like £250 a week off very well paid people to give to the most in need without going cap in hand to the government.

I hope Everton give this a very wide berth. It is shameful, the furlough scheme is to keep jobs that may be lost forever if the company has to close or lose jobs to survive. Luckily football will be back no matter what with the same amount of people as there was before, you can't say that about other industries.

And considering their fans are always bragging about how well run the club is, they don't spend any money and out deals and the massive profits their making, just how pathetic and shamefully is this.

The thing about Liverpool is that they simply don't care about their supporters, even some of their more reasonable fans will tell you that. I know you can say that about any club, but Liverpool are the worst. I knew somebody whose girlfriend worked at a primary school and they asked Liverpool to send some shirts and memorabilia to auction it off for some kid who was sick and his family, Liverpool refused because of some garbage about they couldn't spare staff to bring down the the school, one of the teachers who was a Red offered to pick the stuff up, they just never got back to them. Everton on the other hand were quite happy to send stuff to auction, signed shirts and everything and evens sent a few of the bench warmers and reserve players to the school. Most Liverpool fans will admit that Everton in the community do a lot more for locals than Liverpool FC do.
