He tried chatting up my missus in a pub back in his RS playing days. Obviously before she'd set eyes on me like....

Although she was flattered by the attentions of one of the most high profile footballers in England at the time it wasn't gonna happen. He apparently had pretty bad body odour but most off-putting was that he seemingly also had bladder problems. He kept disappearing into the bogs but on the plus side was very talkative and oozed confidence upon his return.

Thats what she told you lad lol

Lad is playing FIFA when this thought came into my head...

Out of favour Everton star refuses to sign for relegation threatened Liverpool

Everton winger won't cross the City despite record wage offer. Time running out for Gerrard to solve goals problem.. with Max Power and Will Greggs ruled out for the season.

Don't know why I click on the Echo as I know it will wind me up.

Basically saying that because they did a U turn on the furlough it puts pressure on Spurs, Newcastle etc. Like they are f ing saints and such a noble moral compass.

Surely the clubs not furloughing staff and stating publicly that they are not are better examples.

I wonder if I spit on someone but wipe it off, does that make me a better person than someone who doesn't spit on people?

Jamie Carragher might think so.

But if even the rat bags of FSG can change their minds then the other scoundrels can. The furlough scheme is there to help out businesses that can't handle the economic effects of the pandemic, not a wheeze to not pay your staff and safeguard your profit.
