The media and fans of the red clubs will be overjoyed when Pep leaves. They started by saying his style of football won't work in the Prem. Doubled down on this after his first season. Then did a complete u-turn and said it wasn't fair and it's all about the money. Everyone could do what Pep does if they had his budget. He still gets called a fraud and a chequebook manager. But when he leaves they will be singing from the rooftops.

I wonder if “the way we did it” that he really likes included furloughing staff while keeping paying multimillionaires wages? Or agreeing to join a super league? Or hacking the Man City database? Or encouraging ticketless fans to descend in Paris?

Mate, that's still pretty normal and acceptable compared to the Kopite clown circus show we're been exposed to recently.

Sadly I think you’re right.

Mad how some just can’t see it, and blindly buy the BS about it being just great coaching and motivation. The peaks and troughs in their points totals when shippmann cycles down are striking as well, again conveniently ignored.

The evidence slaps you in the grid - insane fitness and performance levels playing 60 games a season just evaporate when they leave the RS, they break down with injuries, hardly play and when they do play they look absolutely finished.

There wasn't this much fuss and media rimming when the GPC left the rags, and he actually was a world class manager who won the lot repeatedly. Not a Turkey toothed phsycopath like Klopp.
