I am still unsure on exactly what I heard before the game. Maybe I am going mad or maybe somebody else heard the same?

When they were doing their usual sycophantic viewing of that dirge I noticed that the sound suddenly went a bit weird and it was out of step. It stopped halfway through a verse and started again. Then it sounded like 2 songs were going at the same time, not just a bit out of sync but proper 'Michael, row you boat' style. Then it halted suddenly and went back to normal.

Now, it may have been a TV lag or my internet (didn't seem like the video was buffering at all) but the cynic conspiracy theorist in me sort of wondered if that was a tape playing to make it sound louder or something and it went a bit wrong?

No your right I heard the same. It was either 2 stands completely singing about a verse out of time or my guess is one version was through the speakers whilst the others were the fans singing.

Absolutely pathetic the way the commentary stops as if its some kind of hymn that we should all stop and have to listen to.

I don't think they will ever have the love for Snot that they had for Klopp ,winning the league is all well and good but unless the whole world fawns over them it's just not enough.
Hopefully when they finally win the league it is on a day they are not even playing.
I look forward to next season when the wheels start to come off and they start to turn on the manager.

the start of it was the sound of the PA drowning out the crowd, then when they got to the bit the day-trippers knew, either they started singing or tv turned up the crowd mic. embarrassing either way. tourist club
