ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Watched the match and it was a few utter **** wipes near the front who must have said something and let the whole of the club, and especially the majority of our decent, non-scum fans down. Absolutely no condoning it, and I'm glad to see the players showing their support. Liverpool need to deal with this properly and make it clear that, despite the Suarez saga (and it has been), that can't be tolerated whatsoever.

Every club has racists lad but jesus you lot just like digging deeper and deeper

They are claiming it was a coin now...

However:
Eye witnesses saw two fans wearing Luis Suarez t-shirts, and heard one of them clearly shout "You f***ing black b***ard" (Mirror)

Here's what this tosser (from Norway?) thinks however:

Absolutely ridiculous drama queen behaviour by Adeyemi. Like a hysterical 3 year old that's been stung by a bee.

White or black, i don't care, you don't run around crying like that for 30 seconds, and then lunge into a random opponent.

(let @vidarborgen know what you think)

Sorry lads, but if any of you says they have never heard racial abuse at GP then you're lying. 1 Kopite saying something doesn't make them all klansmen ffs.

True...

But you have to be absolutely ****ing braindead to be saying this, at the front of the ground, near the pitch, and directly towards a black player a week after one of the clubs key players has been found guilty of making a racial slur.

Its idiocy of the highest order

There's a big difference though between singing a song in support of somebody (however naive and misinformed it may be) and isolating an opposition player for abuse.

so they didn't start singing it at him then ?

BULL****.

Liverpool have been thrust into another race hate row, after a fan was arrested on suspicion of racially abusing Oldham player Tom Adeyemi. The incident occurred towards the end of the FA Cup tie, when a fan screamed abuse at the young full back, and visibly upset, he turned to confront the man.Adeyemi was visibly upset, and seemed to be in tears. Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard moved across to the corner of the ground where the incident occurred, and comforted the 20 year old.Eye witnesses saw two fans wearing Luis Suarez t-shirts, and heard one of them clearly shout "You f***ing black b***ard".

oh sorry the Mirror are in on it all aren't they, with saf and the fa and murdoch and cameron.

I hope the club takes the most firm stance possible on this. Last thing Liverpool want is a reputation for this kind of thing.

No way would a player react like that if it wasn't foul and if a coin was thrown then he would be clutching his head, lads in tears.

To be honest mate I couldn't hear but I'd like to think not. I'd like to think the majority of our supporters are better than that.

Racists usually are mate. But what I don't like seeing is this being used to further the agenda against Liverpool. We all know they are pricks, we KNOW, but we can't tarnish there whole fanbase with the same brush by using this to call them all racists. Just looks smalltime.

You can't reasonably expect a points deduction for that though. The club can't control who turns up to watch them play and what they do inside the stadium. All the club can do is take action against them afterwards which I expect they will.
