The fans did put extra pressure on the team, plus waiting for the team bus to come in. The celebrations over city was silly as well

"Wer gonna win der leeg" chants simply added more pressure. The players must have thought "OH FFS" when the team bus came around the corner and saw the hordes of fans doing that stupid guard of honour thing. Cringeworthy to the max.

The RS are a footballing equivalent to Dorian Gray. Thankfully, the last couple of weeks has let a lot of people into the attic to see the truly rotten state of the picture

Aye point that.

They were going great guns until their own fans turned up the heat trying to be ultras.

Out came the flares when meeting their own coach in at Anfield and banners turning up over the wall at their training ground.

It just heaped enormous pressure on a squad of which many have been in that position before in their career.

Most of it was done with the sole intent of making making themselves look good, to mark them out as more passionate fans than anyone else.

By acting like a jarg Turkish team playing in Europe LOL.

But its our fault clearly thar their title bid is choking.

The question i have raised before is come August, are they still going to be welcoming the team bus to anfield?

They have got involved so much in their own hype that a lot of them don't realise they are starting to look a little bit silly now. Weeks and weeks of 'were gona win the league' and just like that, it all comes crashing down.

The worst thing is that they will now see City as their nearest rivals as well as united all because of this. They will talk about beating the champions at anfield, they will talk about their winning run, their 99 goals and how much higher they are to us/united/

Except they had their one chance and blew it. I wait on baited breath that this is the final time Stevie G can come close to the big one and whilst that remains true then we can always stick to them that he should have left all those years ago (which had shirt burning btw). A slip and a terrible defence eventually found them out to be simply no more than an in form team at the right part of the season.

They may have been better than us this season but the difference is now, their expectations have suddenly grown a hell of a lot more than ours. And that is when they are most likely to fall away.
