that is a VERY perspicuous analysis Chico. You have hit a sociological nail on the head here. They are indeed a 'foul institution'. I cannot recall exactly which other club's fan said it but it went " they come from the same city, they speak the same accent, but how come Everton and Liverpool supporters are so different?"

PS : hate to be finicky, but it's self deprecation

Or, in the case of our lovable neighbours in this particular instance, self-defecation.

This RS crap of "we go again" or whatever, when and why did all this start up......

I think Gerrard said it in his cringey little huddle after they won against... Was it the city game?

He said something like "we go to norwich again next week, we go again" and as usual they've adopted it and started using it like the cult they are

Well they've certainly went the last two weeks in spectacular fashion like

lol paranoid much ? i must be a bit of a weird liverpool fan what with having bought everton tickets from several other members on this site.

You've gone to great lengths and expense to conceal your true allegiance, and for that you should be applauded.

Ive just watched that huddle again on you tube, who did Gerrard think he was? Big show in front of the fans if ever a player and set of fans deserved each other its him and them. What's interesting is he hasn't said a word since his epic fail when most other players make errors like that they come out and apologise to the fans and team mates, I suppose it shows further shows his arrogance!

Just listening to Brenda again on sky. He is one slippery sod, when asked what could have been done said it was all down to management 'on the pitch' about his defenders, nothing at all to do with him. What then does a manager actually do.....

Typical of him, if he was half a man he'd admit that the change he made at 2-3 was a mistake, as he should have battened down the hatches and ensured they clung on. Instead he brought on a player who couldn't tackle his nan.
