But in all honesty, I am in not small part thankful to LFC supporters. God, they have given me some laughs over the past couple of weeks! It's been a true comedy festival.
PS: Man City, do NOT ruin my fun!

Talksport last year:
Even whilst being as insignificant as they were last year, Liverpool were the second most hated club :)
Always gives me alot of satisfaction knowing that even though we are the 4th most successful team In the country and still challenge the top 6 we are only disliked/hated in the majority by Liverpool fans and the odd Mancunian who just doesn't like merseyside. We have always been a decent knowledgable bunch who do not demand constant success and belittle others. We earn our glory through great football, and hopefully, like in the mid eighties we will see a return to our swaggering best (we are not far off now).

hahaha so now it's 'no matter what happens, we've had a great season and will be celebrating it on Sunday'

The whole world may be laughing at you. The whole footballing world.

But what about all the neutrals....

Maybe they got bowled over by Rodgers charm and whit, or admired the fk off great big portrait of himself he has in his living room, or have come to love Suarez this year because he only dives occasionally, dunno, but since Rodgers told us that they all want Liverpool to win now, it must be true... or delusional. lol.

Personally I suspect they are now well and truly number 1 on that list, not just because of the arrogance, ignorance, and horrible attitude, but because Moyes essentailly made such a bad job of the United season, people actually stopped laughing and hating them after a while and just started feeling sorry for them.

Pretty sure the RS would of overtaken them months ago.

Footie fans in general are a pretty similar bunch. And When Utd were successful, (feels weird just typing that!), they were envied, and hated by the RS. But I always got the impression they were respected, even admired, for the way they played by most other clubs.

But the idiocy from the cult is well known by other fans. Just not the media it seems. Funny seeing it dawning on some more and more.

What makes these mutants think Andy Carroll and Downing are chomping at the bit to get at City and win them the Title?

Downing was derided by the Kopites from the getgo and Brent wasted no time in telling the world he had no time for Carroll's type of player.

So both will bust a gut in an effort to show their detractors at Anfield that they were perfectly right and that Liverpool needed shot of them to become Champions?

Yeah, right.

Erm lad, there's a lad on RAWk and he knows another lad who drinks with both Kevin Nolan and Andy Carroll and they told this lad on RAWK that they are both massively up for this game!

So....

The Kopite's role now seems to be to haunt the internet like a dark spirit telling detractors foreboding stories about what might still happen on the last day of the league.

Makes a change from a fortnight ago when they were in full baby kissing election race mode.

@RED

Settling for the Manager of the Year cup now all of our neighbours. I've heard the term ' knocked down a peg or two ' but christ almighty.

Que ' Just wanted to get Champions League '.

Stevie Me, Suarez and Sturridge don't look like being capable of winning them the league, what makes them think Nolan can do it?

I think it's important to remember that it's Andy Carroll, Kevin Nolan and Stuart Downing that there supposedly relying on.

Christ imagine a Nike football advert with them in it, probably start with two tramps kicking an empty beer can in the park and pan out to Downing sitting outside public toilets with a dog on a piece of string.

The main thing to focus on is if West Ham have a chance of winning at City and it has to be a win to deny them, then Newcastle have just as much a chance of getting a result at Anfield. Some of their players are/were highly rated like Tiote, Remy and Cisse. They have a chance for a bit of redemption after a dreadful run of form and a manager under pressure.
