We can all have a pop at Rodgers tactics, but if we're honest, does Bobby really have a plan B of any sort? Be honest here lads

You can knock him for not having a proper defence all you like (And you'd be right to) but Gerrard slipping wasn't his fault at the end of the day and I'm not convinced Crystanbul was soley down to him either
Thats plural and should not be used when talking about this topic and Rodgers. He has one tactic, right from the first whistle, is a gung ho, punt it into space behind the backline. Its a modified version of 90's Wimbledon and to be fair its worked but he doesn't have tacticS. He has one. His team scored 80% of their goals in the first half, so teams are petty much out of sight before the half time whistle. Whilst his one and only tactic has worked to a certain point, when teams haven't been out of sight and it quite clearly needs a change or three, he doesn't have a clue and stalls. He relies on one tactic and one alone. A gung ho, punt it into space, kick them in the teeth early for the opposition to surrender ( so hopefully his lack of tactical nous won't get challenged later on ).

Martinez changes his tactics quite frequently. Arsenal and Utd at goodison springs to mind off the top of my head for a quick example.

Up until the aftermath of tin mine derby, that was perhaps a valid criticism (though remember the amount of times he has made a successful sub) - however since that horror show he has demonstrated that he can and will change tactics, probably with the Arsenal game being the best example.

The Uruguayan batted away questions in Barcelona on whether he would stay with Liverpool while denying suggestions that there is a clause in his contract that enables him to leave for Real Madrid or Barcelona.

The majority of the questions focused on Suárez's future, with Spain on the agenda. The first question set the tone. Asked whether there was any chance he would move here, Suárez replied: "My head now is focused on the World Cup. I had a very good season with Liverpool but now I am focused on the World Cup. Everyone knows that there is always too much media speculation."

And so it begins?

Had a little chuckle at this article which was posted on my Facebook feed by a bitter red.

They won't be supporting England this summer because rival fans joked about poor Stevie's slip... bless 'em.

Looking through that abomination of a site I came across this brilliant example of the utter nonsense that they spout on a regular basis;

Who are these people?!

Mate, C'mon. Bobs got a plan d,e and f. The amount of times he's changed games at HT or with a sub is phenomenal. Look at what we did to Man Utd too. Let them have the ball and devastated them on the counter.

And what a breath of fresh air is his versatility with his plans too after the stagnant 5 mins to go impotent changes of DM. Martinez will continue to follow his intelligent approach to changing players/tactics promptly when necessary I don't doubt. However from the tatters of their end of season, Im not sure that Rodgers has that acumen.

Of course he has a "Plan B".

Plan A blew Arsenal away with power packed attacking on the front foot.

Plan B was the devastating counter attack football which destroyed the Mancs.

Indeed, and his substitutions swung the game in our favour a number of times this season. Tactically, Martinez is head and shoulders above Rodgers.
