So apparently a pre season tour in Australia proves that the rs fans at home are the best in der world ladz, lets forget about trying to kill Bulgarians, killing Italians, bricking opponents teams coaches and beating their fans up anytime a result doesn't go their way, lets forget about their support of a racist, the lies some of their fans make up about opponents supporters 'provoking' a response, lets forget that fat whopper who outright made up lies about Evra to justify him being called a n****r by one of their own. Hey lets even forget about their own fans robbing each other in Istanbul to get tickets

They have 100k Australians turning up and singing a song so must be the bestest fans in the whole world

LIVERPOOL fans are known for their impressive vocal support - with this rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone proving their credentials.

Nearly 100,000 supporters packed into the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia last summer for a pre-season tour match and a chance to see Liverpool in action.

And before the game, the Reds' famous sing-a-long was given a stunning airing down under.

Liverpool might not have won the Premier League this season, but is it time to crown their fans the best in the division?

Arsenal supporters have been criticised for the atmosphere at the Emirates in recent seasons, but a 250,000-strong crowd turned out to see their FA Cup bus parade on Sunday.

Manchester United's ground is known as the Theatre of Dreams, but some have suggested it can go quiet at Old Trafford.

And Stamford Bridge trended on Twitter during Chelsea's penultimate game of the season against Norwich with many slamming the home crowd.
Best Fans in the Division Trophy now. That's at least 5 trophies they won this season. Here's me thinking it was a barren and bottling catastrophe of a season when in actuality they scooped up the game's major awards for 2013/14.

God damn it, they always have the last laugh.

The idea of the 'People's Champions' should be formalised with a trophy. You'd then have the Premier League Trophy for the actual winners and maybe something named the League Champions Leaving Out Dee-Oil-Clubs-Lad Trophy for the best of the rest.

It'd be Brendan's first and only trophy and take him out of the no mark category he's been cruelly placed in.

The only problem with the peoples champion as a cup is I think there are a couple ahead of him for the trophy, from Martinez down to Pardew, Stalin, Hittler, Ghengis Kahn, Joseph Fritzel, Dik Dastardly and Steps.. Well maybe not the last one.
Of course if its just football and we are not counting 3 teams then I guess there are only 16 people ahead of him so not bad.

Brendan Rodgers “We are one of the biggest clubs in the world - one of the great institutions in modern football".

How much longer can they get away with that claim for?

It's embarrassing. A quarter of a century without being domestic top dogs. Imagine Juve or Inter, or Barcelona or Madrid claiming they were one of the biggest clubs in the world on that basis - they'd be laughed at in Italy/Spain.

Let's face it: if Liverpool still are a global institution it's got nothing to do with football.

They were crowned top 4 champions a few times though and won league cup 3 times in the last 10+ years. Gotta count for something surely ?

Just look at your list here. Completely dominated by Man Utd, yet those maggots are still trying to cling onto what they did 30 years ago and claim they're still a bigger club than them. Nail on the head when you mentioned the word embarrassing.

Where are all the kopite posters who would respond and defend their club not two weeks ago. Did i miss something :D

That is possibly the cringiest thing I have read in a long time.

Aye mate, if it was off some jarg faboy site i wouldn't have given it a scecond glance and chalked it down to their del;usional nature, the fact it was in a national paper like the Express though made me cringe as to their cult-like obsession with trying to get everyone to admit they love them like, If your not with them your against them, think by the reaction of supporters up and down the country following every other team they have their answer that they are pretty much detested like no other set of fans by the 'neutral'

The title of everyone's favourite second team or the peoples champion the media tried to force down everyone's throats would be more applicably calling them everyone's second most hated team - after their 'derby' rivals, and it's nothing to do with them being successful as they've become more and more disliked the past 20 years when they haven't been successful at all compared to the 70-80's
