Maybe crying Kristian is doing our site too, i hope so. I hope it's written in tears.

http://lfc.liverpoolecho.co.uk/index.html The Echo's Liverpool season review.

Comical (written by the blubbering hack of Selhurst Park, btw).

Pure genius it is....only thing is: even this glossy, soft focus fan porn cant get away from the grisly finale.

I can't stand the way he writes. Just that opening line is enough to make you cringe so hard you get a hernia..

"The scoreboard had not yet flickered towards 20 minutes when it was troubled for the fourth time. It would have been forgiven if it asked for mercy, for some respite. But Arsenal had already asked and received no reply."

Who writes like that? Just awful.

It is like sommat one would see in a creative writing class

I can't believe a professional journo would write twee tripe like that.

Proper wordsmith that lad. We're lucky to be able to read his stuff before he goes onto better things.

It's really, really bad. I was reading his twitter the other day and said something about the new series of 'Derek' is 'trying too hard'.

Which i sort of agree with but dearie me, the lack of self awareness is astonishing.

Anyone get as far as his review of the Anfield derby? It's infuriating.

This was one of the most exciting performances Anfield had witnessed in years, made better with the opposition being one of the strongest Everton sides in the past two decades.

Literally no mention of our injury crisis. At all. No mention of the fact we had 60% possession> No mention of the fact we 19 attempts.

I honestly think that's someone from here taking the mick. It's like someone on here doing what'd be called an OTT impression of a RAWK review.

I can't believe someone would write like that professionally.

It's the dominant narrative of the season now: because Liverpool collapsed in the run in the real prize 'all along' was to get CL football and stamp their authority on games against close rivals - hence the importance given over to those games in the season review.

It's basically a consolation. Hilarious.
