With regard to Heysel I have to say that a good friend of mine was there and at Hillsborough - I saw him the day after the former and he was just stunned by what had happened - he never said anything about other supporters, just that the atmosphere was one of the most poisonous he had witnessed and he never wanted to see that again. Strangely enough after Hillsborough when I saw him on the Monday he just kept saying it was karma for Heysel. I think that there were a combination of reasons why the disaster at Heysel happened, not just down to the rs fans - but it does seem to have been forgotten by the club and the media in comparison to Hillsborough.
