I think he'll follow the party line totally. FSG weren't amused by Dalglish's handling of Suarez/Evra/the humiliating t shirts etc which played a part in his departure. I think they'll offload Suarez as soon as possible.... then the airbrush will be out as though it never really happened.....again.

Aldridge is your standard Kopite bellend who again should not be given air to breath when it comes to the media. Rodgers would like to defend him if given the opportunity. Remember, this is the man who said he's a better person because of Suarez. That tells you all you need to know about that fraud. Henry I think will be the one who takes a hard stance and looks to get rid. His investment and image doesn't look great when your carrying something that resembles a rabid animal who can't control themselves. Sponsors won't be happy about it.

So I'm having a 'discussion' with a kopite mate of mine. So far he's come up with...

- seems a bit harsh, other than biting his record is impeccable (I mentioned the small thing of being racist)
- I'm doubtful, he plays with lots of nationalities and ethnicities and does lots of charity work. He was under pressure being accused of being racist so he couldn't get his story as convincing as evra's.
- they didn't do anything special to zidane for his headbutt.
- (about the fact this is his third bite) because it's a repeat offence he clearly has no control over it, so punishment is not the answer
- players get less for career ending tackles
- punishing him so he feels victimised won't help
- he wasn't even playing for us at the time

The comical thing though is seeing all these Kopites in the media not knowing whether it's safe to weigh in with a condemnation of Suarez and a view that he should leave Liverpool....it's tricky for them....they just don't know whether they'll upset the foot soldiers of the cult at this stage and have their living as an official hanger on threatened with a Jihad.

If LFC are upset about being punished for something out of their control I suggest they sue the person at fault. Luis Suarez.

Not going to do that though are they? Wouldn't want to upset a saleable asset, reducing his worth in a transfer fee.

The thing that I'm struggling with is the fact that many of the rs can't see that he is banned for the danger he is to other professionals rather than a danger to the colour shirt that they wear. The very fact that they never dealt with either of the incidents properly is entirely their fault, and Liverpool themselves have essentially been enablers of this whole situation. He was effectively rewarded after his first bite while at Ajax with a lucrative move to Liverpool, who then, not 12 months after doing it again, reward him again with a huge pay rise and ensure that he gets the POTY by carefully managing and manipulating the press and media from the club, alongside him playing very well of course.

Let's not forget of course, that this help that people are calling for has already been provided by Liverpool, and they had passed him fit.

Are Liverpool being unfairly treated here? No, not even slightly.
Should they be forced to suffer more? Entirely
They, as a club, need to accept a large amount of responsibility in this case.
