He is awful, absolutely awful and baring the odd good game for Portsmouth some years back he's always been awful.

I'd also Hazzard a guess that his England days could be well and truly over after this WC.
 


How come no one seems to have any sympathies for the recipients of his biting? How come the dodgy PFA have no interest in protecting them?

As for Chiellini, perhaps his 'excessive' statement is to offset the obligatory death threats from TWO sets of hideously deranged 'fans'.

No wonder he does it time and time again when he's defended by his country, fellow pro's and his club

He will be sitting there thinking he's done no wrong, A little bit like when he racially abused someone and his teammates wore t shirts in support of him, Lets never forget that Liverpool FC and there staff thought it ok to publicly defend a racist and there fans thought it was fine to boo the victim on his return to Anfield

There's no question about that. His "real" thoughts on the matter where immediately after the match.
