I see quite a few reds are taking the piss out of Naismith and his ' publicity stunt ' for giving Everton tickets to local jobcentre's. Yes, a publicity stunt. Yet only days ago, their very own club were shockingly being photographed outside disaster memorials, branding 2014 merchandise. Even taking a camera crew to the 9/11 memorial.
they really are a bunch of ironic beauts aren't they

Yeah, it's ridiculous mate. I just like to think that they're masters of irony.

Ever since the events at the end of the season culminating in Suarez's bite and subsequent sale, the RS fans I know have been totally unable to come back at me for saying "Don't slip up" or Crystanbul or you haven't signed anyone as good as Lukaku etc etc. They are pig sick no matter what they say to the contrary - I get the feeling they are not happy with Brent or Stevie GBH and if things don't go for them in the first 5 or 6 games then expect meltdown like you've never seen. Can't wait .......

They are just kicking themselves that none of their multi millionaire players came up with such a gesture so they belittle that of Naismith. If it had been Gerrard it would have been all ove their site and in all the papers.

As for the visits to those memorable sites, the crassness of the Liverpool heirachy is unbelievable and unforgivable. Look at the silly sods all smiling and holding shirts it is in my book sickening.

RAWK....

"You get a trophy for winning this? Seriously thought it was just a bit of fun."

"Grab the ball and let's head home lads, league chances are over."

"Well that's that then. Season's over. Mancs will win the league and win every league for the next 25 years again. Rodgers out."

"i think we were good for 60mins they scored 2 jammy goals and were generally poor. they fouled alot (wont get away with it in a proper game) .

Feel like it papered over alot of cracks in their game, we were ok. lambert wasnt bought to play vs a team that presses up the pitch., he was bought to play vs park the bus teams. we had no penetration from him at all. he was awful to be honest. other than that, we were ok."

"My mom is faster than Lucas."

.......see lads, they're just like us.........

That's why I can't read RAWK anymore (except on special occasions such as Crystanbul)

They're attempt at sarcasm and humour is terrible. You can tell they're not scousers.

Glen Johnson on Suarez, 2013: ' If we can keep the players that we have got here then everything looks promising. He loves his football and he always wants to play. No matter what team you play for, it is always important to keep your best players. '

Glen Johnson on Suarez, 2014: Feels Liverpool will be better off without Suarez and is expecting another premier league title challenge.

Actually the wreath in the pic Bryan was objecting to was from the Boston memorial, the fact that it's hard to distinguish between which wreaths they laid on their tour kinda sums them up. As for the Boston wreath, they have links with the city so I'm ok with the wreath but they went waaay to far putting a 'Liverpool FC tour 2014' scarf on there. I notice they used a different scarf at ground zero, You'd hope someone must have pointed out the crassness of the first scarf but then they hold the jerseys up, nuts!

This one I assume?
Proof indeed that you don't need Photoshop to place Rodgers in an utterly inappropriate situation.
Its got nothing on the shirt dangling, inane grinning, stupidity of the 911 one, but the 2014 tour is going grand and I suspect there may be more stops on the itinerary.

I am sure they are spreading their message of crassness, commercialism and poor taste to people wherever they go.

I suspect the fans believe he was right on both counts.

I can't imagine another club doing that. What would they think if a gang of Americans stood grinning outside the Hillsborough memorial with 'The Boston Breakers 2014 world tour' written on a wreath? Would they see it as a nice gesture or all a bit odd?

I've never seen Kenny happier by the way. The should take him on a tour of disaster sites more often.

Pretty sure he was at the Chelsea home match last season. Maybe Crystanbul as well.
