"murderers" is a banned term here and it's certainly not a term the majority of Evertonians on this forum support the use of (yes, we had a poll). I agree with you there's a line that's sometimes crossed.

On the other hand, do you agree Liverpool FC are a cult organisation who look to further their influence by deliberately seeking out unrelated tragedies across the world, playing the sympathy card to curry favour with the media/sponsors/officialdom/new fans etc?

oi lar, i have graduated twice. don't be calling my points stupid.

just because deals can be put as undiclosed, doesn't mean liverpool aren't the same as chelsea and city when it comes to spending. they just buy good players with it, you don't see them regularly going down to the 8th best teams to spend £50-£60m, well okay, chelsea did that with torres, but apart from that. yes they've 'bought' the title (who doesn't these days), but at least they won what they bought. you bought second place. you're now buying 7th place, for some reason. why spend £100m to fall 5 places, just smells of bad business imo, but we'll see if it works out in the long run.

btw which cheeks of mine are sweet?

This is exactly it. A lot of it is funny but there are some serious people in here who don't seem to get that Liverpool aren't actually what they're made out to be.
