Every top player they've gone near has brushed them off without a thought, hence the reason they're going into the new season having lost their best striker and have only managed to land Big Lambo as a replacement. There's a great chance that they'll panic in the next week or so and buy yet another massively overpriced flop of a frontman.

Every time gnashers opens that stupid grid of his something worse comes out.

Every player in Europe is rushing to play for Liverpool.

Sanchez, Benzama, Reus, Balotelli, Falcao, Cavani, Keita, Lacazette.

I can save you some time here Dave...
Everyone else, Lambert

Their attitude is bizarre (echoed by Hamman in todays rags I see):[paraphrasing] 'We've lost a world class player, but he was always big trouble; now we've replaced him with some average players so we'll be better than before'.

It's the football equivalent of some tortured soul sitting on the floor comforting themselves by rocking backward and forward and sucking their thumb.

"1. Liverpool, 2. Chelsea, 3. Man City, 4. Arsenal, Bottom three: Southampton, Burnley, Leicester.

"Most people will understandably write Liverpool off having lost their best player & with the added burden of Europe again. But last season was no fluke. The runners-up have reinvested the Suarez cash wisely, and for the first time in years have proper strength in depth and a solid defence.

"In Sterling, Coutinho and Sturridge they also possess the kind of young, attacking talent that will only improve, and which can compensate for the departure of their former talisman. Liverpool can go one better than last year, and be the surprise champions the premier league so desperately needs. There will be life after Luis, just you watch."

LOL

Just found this while searching for photos for the Leicester preview, and thought you may like it.

If only some of today's sycophantic "journalists" wrote like this!

p.s, looks like a cracking winning goal there from that pic

The media are dying for them to win it. Clogging along on the fumes of May.

It smells beautiful though, as we know what pressure did to them last season. This here.... the burner is already on. ' make us believe '.
