benitez was clueless in the english league - they never did anything of note as far as i remember in the league. the true definition of a cup manager.

the thing is, anyone can win a cup without actually winning a game, you can draw your way through it going through on away goals, shutting up shop for 1 whole tie and get given a controversial goal, with things on penalties etc. he achieved zilch in the actual premier league when you have to win a large majority of games.

rodgers will be gone within 2 seasons you would image, swansea were always going to go up that season, they were constantly getting closer and closer to promotion and even though nowhere near as a one man team as RS last season, sinclair's goals aided rodgers drstically, in his defence he was the one to bring him in, as well as borini who made a difference near the end of the season.

but yeah, he got sacked by reading and watford, and was lingering 7th and 8th with them until last season's freak season from suarez and sturridge and mr. penalty. they'll win with ease today, soton's weakest team all season with their only good player not wanting to be there.

Oooooh, Liverpool's cup final today. All the tourists will be lapping this up, all the day trippers taking souvenirs back to Devon and Norway! Quick, lets buy a flag and a halfy/halfy scarf, a momento of our big day, our one off trip to Anfield, we can stand on the Kop and all have a big sing song, act giddy and pretend we're all brilliant loyal match-going fans. And the tv can say we're part of a special atmosphere and how we're the 12th man and Brendan will smile and wave to us and give a thumbs up! Aren't we boss? LIV-ERRRRRRRRR-POOOOOOOOOOOL! Got to love how the media continue to let Brenda ramble on without questioning anything factual. He's just said that apparently they'll be alright this season because they scored 101 goals last term and only 30 of them were scored by Luis. Now if you were having that conversation with a kopite in the pub you might just ask how many pens he won or how many assists the lad got.....

So if we didn't have Barkley then 5 of them would get into our 11 man team.

So i could say if they didn't have Sturridge, then Lukaku, Barkley, Coleman, Baines, McCarthy would walk into theirs. And this is what I'm on about, they're no great shakes and the days where man for man they would get more into a combined team are gone. If we did the same with Arsenal, City or Chelsea, our players would be in the minority, but against the RS, Utd and Spurs that is not so.............

Would Barkley get into there side over Lallana???
