in fairness lallana and markovich have yet to play, not saying that theyre going to be a success but 1 game in you cant really make too many predictions of how weaker theyve got without suarez

utd defo need more signigns if they want top 4 tho .

We need AT LEAST 3 new players IMO.

This is my realistic (apart from Di Maria) first 11 after we've got in new players:

------------------ De Gea ------------------

Rafael ------ Jones ------ Rojo ------- Shaw

------------ Herrera --- Blind ---------------

------------------ Mata --------------------

--- Januzaj ------------------- Di Maria ----

----------------- Rooney ------------------

I'd be very very happy with that, and it's strong enough to finish top 4 if we swap Rooney for RVP and vice versa. Van Gaal has already said he prefers the 4-3-3 formation the most.

Yeah all of them fell off a cliff during their mid twenties (besides Ratboy), coincidently the age Sturridge is approaching

I've said it before and i will say it again.........

In the last 20 years, 99% of footballers who have played for that team, end up half the player they were with their careers cut short. Its a growing trend and bar the odd one of two, they pretty much fall off the map. Its astonishing some of the talent that Liverpool have had in the above time frame. Promising young players on the cusp of a glowing career, then they disappear after a year or two.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the likes of Markovic, Can and Suso disappear from existence in 2 or 3 years.

Some marvellous propaganda from the Red Machine (BBC) here..

Haha, despite the same number of chances as Southampton, they still came out on top...
So what they are saying is that after buying 4 or 5 of Southampton's best players, including their attacking threat, they buried only one more goal, despite only making the same amount of chances..
That's actually quite embarrassing for them.

You rate Rafael? Blind's a far better right back than him..

Edit: Ignore me I meant left back

My son pointed a similar 'Sky Stat' thing about goalies and clean sheets which had Pippa Reena at the top. Since then, some of the other goalies below have caught them out in a lie and they have taken down this bogus 'stat'.

Except, of course, that they lack the 'embarrassment' gene.
