Was never even that good at Arsenal. Played his best football at Charlton, did nothing for Arsenal and then next minute he was off to play centreback in Guardiola's team of 11 midfielders but then never got a game. Would be decent but who on here would swap McCarthy for him? I certainly wouldnt.

Also buying midfielders rather than attack dogs like Henderson would mean they would have to actually start passing it in midfield and then Stevie me gets found out again.

People are more anti-Lucas then they've ever been because of his lackluster performance vs Southhampton in the double-pivot but they ignore the fact that he's spent the last several years as a lone pivot and he's miles better as a lone pivot.

Balotelli was good business for them as Eto'o was for us, forget about the crass remarks some have said on here.

There's that many pivots going on here their bound to have gone back on there point.
 
If he Robatelly scores goals for them, like Saurez before him there is no telling what he could get away with. I'm going for a training ground bust up with Gerrard. Gerrard is kindly asked to retire.

No I haven't. I still think they've got better match winners in the side than the other teams going for Top 4 except for Chelsea and Man City.

Sterling is going to have a huge season IMO. I think Sturridge will score goals as well.

Look, I want to be wrong - but I think it's dangerous writing L'pool off so soon. They'll be there or there abouts come May next year.

They're amazing, they've collectively turned meaningless BS practically into a language, listening to them and Brent it's like being in a feeble minded management seminar, Pivots vs. Double-Pivots FFS...
