I'm seeing plenty of Manchester United fans going all RAWK at the moment.

:bye:
Give it a few years an utd fans will make rawk seem like a bastion of objective rationality. I suspect they are about in the same place as the rs were 20 or so years ago. I hope.

They're definitely drifting towards that. If their slide continues they'll be on full on RAWK mode in 2 seasons at most. At the moment they all think they're one or two 'missing pieces' away from competing on all fronts.

Which is basically where kopites have been for the last quarter of a century. It's understandable at the start of the decline but after 5 years or so it looks pathetic. Which is the main reason everyone laughs at them. Maybe United fans will have more self awareness and humility but the current evidence implies they won't.

I doubt it mate. Midtable finishes and a struggle to qualify for a European place is not what the vast majority of them signed up for. A few years of City winning titles and them struggling will create some heretofore unseen levels of bitterness.

Interesting to see their academy has failed them again. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...ws/liverpool-fc-youngsters-must-raise-7692778

Flanagan: is he the only one in the past ten years or so that's come through and established a place? I can only remember Warnock before that. Sterling was a hefty half million quid purchase from QPR academy, so I wouldn't include him.

They may as well close that place in Kirkby down. It must be the most expensive failure in western European football.

Lovren on Football Focus: piece kicks off with the Balkan War start to life....he and his family were safely tucked up in Germany for years before it kicked off. No matter, let's not spoil a good story with the truth.
