I admire your confidence. I personally think Everton have been found out - Martinez had the expected "first season effect." You'll find this season far more difficult. Remember, you still have the same manager that relegated Wigan despite his pretty football. I really like him as a man and a manager but his teams are notoriously easy to play against. You've shipped goals for fun every match so far - that will be a huge problem in the long term.

You're all very quick to write United off after just a few matches yet refuse to acknowledge that you have some very mediocre players yourself. Remember, we haven't played ONE match yet with our first teamers. We've had no Rafael, Carrick, Shaw, Rojo, Di Maria, Herrera, Blind etc. I'd love to see how you perform without Baines, Coleman, Distin, Barry, McCarthy etc.

Time will tell.

These players are ones you've just spunked >110 mill on. I get your point re: Martinez but hard to compare to that amount of spend on a whole new spine of the team. Best hope they settle in well & quickly.
