Statements such as

fast black midgets don't become world class footballers

are where it starts. Action has to be taken then or some folk see it as ok to begin commenting on skin colour. Then following that, other folk think it's ok to then be racist.

As a result, cause and effect etc, we have to do something. Following our actions, we then get our decisions openly disagreed with in thread so obviously a response is necessary - as if it's not hard enough as it is.

Back to topic please.
 
This ^^^^...... I don't think there was anythng sinister about the original post to be honest.... Just my opinion like.

You'd never describe a white player as that though

You'd just say he was slow and lanky

He didn't need to say that he was black but he made a point of it. He could of just said "fast midgets don't make it to be world class players"

There was no need to bring in the qualifier about him being black. It designates that being black or not is an important feature in regards to judging a players talent, which it absoluely isn't
