ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Take solace in the fact they won't be winning the league any time soon, Last season still gives me cold sweats, Imagine he wouldn't have slipped

I'll call it now

Win on Saturday followed by a win against Basel to see them through to the next round, Draw against Utd followed by them beating Arsenal at Anfield

Then they will get Sturridge back and have a head of steam behind them

nah...utd are going to be SOO up for that

Their luck really knows no bounds, how that Cambiasso missed a totally open goal I'll never know,Sterling blatantly goes to ground every time,Lucas commits foul after foul and just laughs at the ref,the deflection right into tennis ball 'eads path for the second, the sending off, every sodding thing goes for them.

Remember the end of last season?..they had cashed all their good luck chips in 4 games too early...Stevie La's slip and Crystanbul?
Whenever Liverpool's intra-season jamminess gets me down...
'I simply remember these favourite things...
...and then I don't feel, so sad'

It's win win with these this season: they get beat it's funny as ****; they get a victory - it means nothing with them already out the title race, and you just smile at last season's implosion.

That's the gift that never stops giving - The Great Collapse of 2014.

Spot on

I'm pretty gutted about today, given that Leicester were definitely good enough to beat them. It's great that they will be nowhere near challenging for the title, but to see them get results when they are stinking the place out is definitely not enjoyable.

Still better than us like...

We are behind these and seven points behind that abortion of a man u side. Just hope we put a good run together now.

Tbh, I'm more concerned about their progress in the cups. The league is already well beyond them and the way they've spent means that it looks like they'll be way off that for years to come. I'd like to see them out of the CL and that LC though. The former they have no real chance in, but they could get lucky with the LC; and it's like a kick in the balls seeing them get any success. In that sense the league wins they get mean nothing to me.

Just think back to late April/ early May last season and comfort yourself with how far they've fallen.;)
