Brilliant achievement!

Can't wait to be back among Europe's elite next season, where we deserve to be!

You know somewhere out there in Europe, other top clubs are clapping their hands - "Welcome back, Liverpool. See you next year".

It's been too long, way too long. Oh how have we missed you!

Can't wait to see us against Barcelona and Bayern. We will [Poor language removed] them

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Who'd have thought we'd have guaranteed not just the CL but third with three matches to go?

European nights back at Anfield (not that I can actually go to any of them...they've just always been special to watch).
The chance that by this time next year I might very well have gotten to see Jon Flanagan play against Real Madrid.
No more "no CL" excuses for players not joining us. No more getting pipped by frigging Spurs.
At least £7-10m in prize money alone, and that's if we don't do all that well.
The near-complete erasure of the sense of doom we've all been feeling for years.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

A summary of their delusion:

The Summary:

Can't wait to see us against Barcelona and Bayern. We will tw-t them

You know somewhere out there in Europe, other top clubs are clapping their hands - "Welcome back, Liverpool. See you next year"

a link to the CL music together with, yes!! - the multilingual lyrics

Let's go for number 6!

I've been singing the theme in the shower for months. Just had a boss sing along now as well. My body is ready.

Aw, man, am I going to have to get SKY Sports? This sh--ty laptop can't handle streams particularly well....

I'd absolutely love a group of death to be honest, something like

Liverpool
Borussia Dortmund
Napoli
Barcelona

I honestly believe we can make it to the semis with are best eleven now,add a few key players to that and were set to fire on all fronts next season. I reckon brendan will blood some of our young lads in the cup games. I cant f-cking wait ringtones already set to the champions league theme lol. I honestly couldn't give a [Poor language removed] who we draw in the group stages were liverpool bring on ya barcas madrids n ya bayerns!!!

Football fans around Europe of a certain vintage will be telling their sons of daughters of tales of the famous Liverpool tonight and will welcome back one of the Legendary football clubs.

Great. Back in the big time. Now we will win the Champions League next season.

There is nothing in Europe right now that we couldn't destroy on our best day.

We don't actually need that much, with the loaned players coming back/youth players getting better, Suso, Borini, Ibe, Illori, Wisdom and Robinson add the depth we need

Liverpool is the last club any team wants to visit in Europe.

The best teams in Europe are already delegating which four players should mark suarez

The cream of europe will want to see us back,an iconic european giant back where they belong, and you know every player wants to sample anfield european nights.

I really want to see Rodgers test himself against the top tacticians in the game.

No push overs, and not the best places to go for the fans. Just make sure to pack weapons to defend yourselves

I hope we do get a group with some top teams, namely the Spanish lot, so we can hammer the [Poor language removed] out of them.

Most are almost wetting themselves that they might draw us next season as well

We'll come top of our group.

the likes of Bayern, Barca and Real want a comfy group they can coast through they will be desperate to avoid us.

Even pot 1 isn't that strong

- after the sale of Suarez (before the draw)

We're going to absolutely batter Barcelona when we play them.

Hoping for Basel from pot 2.

already booked my hotel room in berlin, Germany here we come

During the draw:

Excellent.. City with Bayern Munich

Real and Basel :)

Poor Real

that (ENG) in brackets under our name is a blight on our good name

Now for Ludo to finish it off

It's gonna be boss seeing Ronaldo, Bale, James and co get stuffed at Anfield.

At least second from this group

Should comfortably be Liverpool and Real Madrid that get through. We should get more than 12 points too.

Hotel room in berlin booked already, this will be a breeze

Just be careful when traveling to Bulgaria... remember Michael Shields's experience...

We are going to absolutely hammer Real at Anfield. It's going to be a screaming madhouse and Brendan will have the boys come out of the blocks at 190 MPH. A 4-1 at home and a close loss or draw in Madrid and we'll take the group

What would be the best pub in Liverpool to watch the Real Madrid away game at?

Just saw the tweet from Spion Kop about the planned mosaic at the KOP for Tuesday... Looks classic.. Cannot wait for it..

I'm buzzing for it!. Nothing like a 4:30AM start midweek in Australia for a CL game! Good way to bounce back from the Aston Villa game too. Come on boys!

I'll be getting up at 4:30AM but that's no worry! I remember doing it back when I was in high school

Can not wait for the match today. Growing up in the US, I...

None of those comments suprise me. They are so unbelievably nauseating when they have any sort of form and momentum.
From the embarrassing fans greeting the coach to the, now hilarious, for the cameras, don't let it slip, huddle by the players.

Why must we as a football club, be in such close proximity to the circus.

wonderful post from @ToffeeDan as well. i did really well reading that, you know what i did, i didn't laugh straight away, i read each one and as every sentence went by the smile on my face git bigger anticipating the laugh at the end and when i read the last one just one massive lol came out.

they're so unbelievably thick, it's like they must all share the same dad.

i did very well to contain myself when one said "hope we draw basel". as dan stated, this was after they sold suarez, what planet are they on? by then they'd bough a few from southampton - you know, the team who finished 8th, whilst real had bought the shinning light of the WC - what made them think they'd come close to beating Real?

they would have come bottom of our europa group.

Nothing like a front-row seat, I always say.
