ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

A couple of their other players such as Henderson and Sterling were excellent last season as well, look at them now Suarez has left.

Don't underestimate his influence, they were the definition of a one man team last season.

Fox said to me over a pint in the summer "name me an Everton team of any era that Suarez wouldn't get in" and at first I wasn't having it. But when you think on, he's dead right.

A supreme player, a horrid personality but a hell of a player.

I recall the ex-Everton forward David Johnson scoring a LOT of goals for LFC. He never scored anywhere near that number for anyone else. When you play alongside a player as good as The Kong (who was skilled and unselfish) goals are inevitable. Ian Rush was at his most prolific alongside Dalglish.

Winger Sean Day scored a silly amount of tries for St Helens when Mal Meninga was his centre. When Mal went back to Oz, normal service was resumed.

When (of if) Sturridge returns, we shall see how good he really is.

I think it was a 2 way street with Sturridge & Suarez, I don't think either are particularly amazing on their own - just as a partnership for last season it came together.

Mate I'm sorry but I found the Liverpool 0-2 Chelsea game one funny but the bloke simply just says the same [Poor language removed] every time and it isn't amusing.

Thats the point.

That's what Kopites do.

The parody has gone well over your head mate.

"Ricky Lambert just as good as Suarez ever was mate."

"He's offside. I'm not having that mate"

"He elbowed the Liverpool player"

"command is lonely whenever you are at the top end and the leading edge of the game,” he said. “That’s the job from within. I know exactly where we are at. Of course there is a little frustration in terms of where we were for a couple of years and now we are sort of starting again." soz if this was already posted yday
