Well Rodgers has excelled himself today. What an arrogant pathetic puffed up berk...trying to smokescreen his critics by putting himself on the same level as Wenger...the 'see its not just me' syndrome of the self deluded.

“Arsene Wenger has been an iconic figure for football,” Rodgers said. “You get criticised when you don’t win games, but some of the personal stuff he takes is absolutely disgraceful.
“The other week he was at West Brom and that (treatment by fans) was absolutely disgraceful. As a leading figure in football, a real statesman of the game, it was really poor. But that is the modern world, unfortunately. Six or seven months ago I was the manager of the year.
“Because we lost two world class players, one out of the club (Suarez) and one injured (Sturridge), I am now useless. But I accept that.”

In the hard copy of the newspaper, its even worse than this online link as he even gurgles on about people taking pictures of when Wenger fell over at Lime Street station etc and blames modern society (as well as Suareez and Sturridge then it seems). It really is a montage of mania.

at least he's accepted he's useless. the first stage.

I'm talking about the style of football Liverpool have adopted, they have no counter to that which was highlighted last season.

Who don't, Arsenal? Liverpool are the perfect side for Arsenal to play against - it's the sides that 'bully you' like Stoke is where Arsenal always struggle. On paper, Arsenal should win today. Better players, better manager, more of a 'winning mentality' ethos...

Of course football never happens like that but I fancy Arsenal today.

you missed out everton there mate. ha, have arsenal not beaten us in 5? use to be our whipping boys for most of moyes earlier tenure. consistently letting in 4 i remember, even to your reserves.

quincy awusu obeye ffs

Moyes had Arsenal sussed out mate, knew exactly how to play against Wenger sides.

'ON PAPER' the famous saying. The murderers will enjoy a team that will come onto them and play Football. They have struggled against some lower opposition this season at home.

in the last few years whilst wenger was a spent force, yes. martinez has them sussed out to a tee though. 3 times we've played them in the league under him and been the better team by a country mile all 3 times. stupid lapse in concentration means we only have 1 win and 2 draws, instead of 7 points.

moyes took a fair few batterings off them though.

Sky Sports clutching at straws right now; "Can the win against Bournemouth be the turning point for Liverpool?"

How many times we gonna hear that this season. I thought the turning point was away at QPR a few weeks ago, then it was against Stoke at home. Reminds me of us last season - we were crap, everyone knew it except some wouldn't accept it.

Liverpoo won't get near 6th let alone 4th.

swansea, west ham and soton have all looked far better than them. sturridge is going to have to do something extraordinary to get them above them, let alone the other top 6.

See I judge a player on output. I don't mind Ross Barkley misplacing a pass or being tackled while he's trying to dribble because I know if he gets it right once in a while we might score. I'm not a huge watcher of Liverpool games so forgive me if I'm wrong but whenever I watch them Sterling will give the ball away at least 5 times every half and it's been a while since I've seen him have an effect on an important game that an 'excellent' tag would warrant. He has tonnes of potential yes, but he's far from a player who Real or Barca are targeting as the media would have you believe.
I think he has more quiet spells than the pundits and journalists care to admit, but I'm honestly impressed whenever I see him play.

I'll have to keep a closer eye on him this afternoon, because he's never struck me as someone who gives the ball away cheaply.

Having said all that, I don't buy the world class tags for him or Barkley. People forget how good most actual world class players are at 21.

Martin Tylers the biggest kopite going.

When asked should Sanchez have been including in the suarez deal from Liverpool point of view:

"I've been thinking that myself"

"Raheem is an outstanding player"

i have a horrible feeling they will win 3-0

Oh come on, you sound just as bad as the nutters over at RAWK (except they're all convinced that Tyler is a Utd supporter)
