Everton vs Liverpool: Steven Gerrard has built team of warriors says Rodgers before skipper's final Merseyside derby

Or maybe hes just noticed "Warrior" is on all their kit ? Amazing.... Gerrard the Warrior Builder...but no contract extension.

hahahaha this has to be one of his worst. liverpool can be described as many things, but warriors? hell no. they're players look to dive or go down easily at any sign of contact. they are not the kind of team who would roll their sleeves up and get stuck into challenges, despite all the jarg tattoos on skrtel's arms.

He's been playing at the back with the whole 3 at the back thing.

Unbelievable that they'd prefer him over Stones. Even accounting for tribalism. Stones is ridiculous. Generally, I'd want Stones, Baines, and Coleman in 99% of all clubs in the world. Mostly Stones though.

It's the same with every single player they have bought in the last few years. The RAWK timeline for all of them is -

First 3-5 games - best player in that position in the Premiership
First 6-10 games - best player in that position in the world
Next 30 games - media proclaim Brendan is tops at Moneyball yet the players form dips
2nd season - threads start to turn against the player so are locked incase anyone questions RAWKS loyalty
3rd season - player gets an injury and is out for months which elevates them back to world class, a crucial part of the team and the ONLY reason Liberpewl aren't winning the league this year
Not long after player is sold - RAWK proclaim they never rated him anyway

Gerrard doesn't seem happy with the guys that do the contract negotiations at Liverpool

Redknapp: Liverpool seem to be in good form and players like Raheem Sterling have a role to play. Now and in the future.

Steven: Liverpool need to sign up Raheem now. And Jordan Henderson too. When I was coming through, once I had a couple of years remaining, my contract would be renewed to avoid the worry. I see Jordan with a year left and Raheem’s (contract situation) in the paper too much and I know there is no smoke without fire. My message to the club is: get these done. Sharpish. Sterling, Henderson, Sturridge and Coutinho, who has just signed, are the future of this club. I want to watch them delivering trophies for Liverpool. I should mention Jordon Ibe to you too.

StevIe G. I, me, mine.

Never has there been a more appropriate hero for such a relentless group of bulbs.
