100 grand, 100 grand raheem sterling.

loling at rodgers' comments on coutinho. he always plays well against newcastle, a lot of average players do! pretty sure osman has a good game against them more than any other. very similar players.

Phil Thompson is unconcerned by Raheem Sterling’s future at Liverpool – because the club have another talented youngster coming through in Jordon Ibe. Ibe is set to return to the Liverpool squad for Newcastle’s visit to Anfield on Monday night following a six-week absence with a knee injury. Sterling’s contract wrangle with the club is set to rumble on into the summer, but former Liverpool defender Thommo is excited by the prospect of Ibe coming back into the side.

He told Sky Sports: “With all the hullabaloo about Sterling and whether he’ll be signing his contract or not, if he does decide to cut and run from Liverpool, well then we’ve got another youngster on the production line. “Ibe has got a lot of potential on various different scales. Ability-wise he’s top class. He’s got dribbling ability, he’s got the final ball and he can score goals.

Wow probably played less than a dozen games and he is world class ? Also i don tthink he has actually scored yet has he ?

They stink of desperation at times.

Mate, they are talking about replacing an England regular and their, at times. best player with a lad who has had one good shot in his career. Total loons the lot of them.

Another master class in verbal diarrhoea from Todgers (re Sterling and the pipe of peace) .... the gift that keeps giving.

'He’s a young kid that’s been in the spotlight now so he knows the demands of being a top class player and a top class professional, it’s not just on the field it’s off the field but I will speak with him on it and we’ll move on.'

Becoming his mantra during each embarrassing episode of arsing going on over the park. "move on...move on, with hope in your.....etc zzzzzzz "

Stuck in a timewarp somewhere between 1964 and 1986..

Note the Unfortunate, unfinished portrait by Michael Angello of "The Angry Shankly with Green Sky" (1971)

and how disappointing Confused Rush (he says) model is that the advent of electricity meant his (now) aged parents introduced the light bulb right in the middle of the Ceiling Shankly's left cheek.

Note also the half-finished YUNWA shrine piece on the far wall - the distinct lack of red paint barely covered by the primary yellow..

One of the most disappointing exhibits in the showcase is the Chicken Representing The Liver Bird - here we see the unfortunate Chicken on the point of taking a dump (presumably on an unnamed opponent at Anfield)

The exhibition also features a Red Men Chess Piece set and a semen stained 5 times polyester flag draped over the radiator - unwashed since the miracle of Istanbul

The Confused Rush lifesize model is complete with authentic muzzy, late 70s trackie and trainers, fake rolex (or similar watch that the original would have worn)

The lime green drapes - my eyes, my eyes - stolen from some Bulgarian hotel bedroom...

You can visit the exhibition the next time you go to Stavanger.

Sterling really ought to think again about who he chooses as his mates, two releases to the media in a week is ridiculous. I can't help thinking the timing of it all is suspicious though
