ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

My personal favourite is that Rodgers doesn't mention Europe once, as if they weren't expected to go through from their group or at least go further in the Europa. It is all just airbrushed out of existence.
It's a classic bit of Brendan Bluster.

He's rubbish at achieving results when it counts, but undoubtedly a master at a) distancing himself from poor results and shoving his players forward to take the flak; b ) providing context for his own continued underwhelming managerial record by pointing to the technical 'improvement' of the squad in his 3 year no mark tenure as opposed to the actual lack of trophies.

We are in the presence of a PR genius here.

@DanKennett: Finally some validation from Tony Evans on #LFC recruitment last Summer. The process was bypassed and Rodgers was allowed to name targets.

BUT IT WAS DER TRANSFER COMITTEEEE LARRRRRR
Ha Ha Ha.

RAWK respond: "buree woz 'ancuffed by dat KKKommitte lad; Brendan's akchully spent nottin' lad...an' now eez been stabbed in der backkk by der gutter press lad"

This is what Brendan sees when he looks in the mirror....

So it is bang out of order for Hull to charge £50 but it is alright for their club to charge just £3-£5 less. Hypocrites.

"Do I expect to be manager next season? Very much so, yes. I don't think there's anyone better," Rodgers said.

"That's the reality of how I see it. Three months ago I was a tactical genius, performing to a good level."

Tactical genius boys. Oh my

So lets decode this.

1) No he's not. He has only scored more than 12 goals in a season once.

2) In all likelihood outside of the top 4 again could be as low as 7th. Lets be honest 5th to 15th is irrelevant, it is nowhere. It's top 4 or nothing. Being close means didley squad.
Two Semi finals? You mean in one competition you lost to the first premier league side you faced. In the other you lost to the first top 8 premier league side you faced? Had we have had his fixtures in both competitions we'd have been in the FA Cup Final now, and got to the semi final. You bottled in both competitions at the first sign of a challenge, fortunately for you because of lucky draws that was the quarter finals.

Didn't they beat Swansea in the LC, the same Swansea who beat us? And they beat Crystal Palace in the FA cup who are 1 point behind the West Ham who beat us.

I think the argument is Hull have doubled the price for them as compared to some other teams.

Hull charged us £35 as a category B game. LFC, Arsenal, Chelsea, City and Manu are Category A and are charged £50. Category C are £16. Hull's pricing categories are similar to all clubs with their category system.

I know this and think it's wrong, it's a premier league game regardless of the opposition and I feel all should be equal, higher or lower.

That may be the case. But SOS are not arguing the rights or wrongs of ticket prices, they are complaining about their ticket price at Hull, when their club does exactly the same thing. Hypocritical.
