well in a few months there'll be no trying about it - he will have moved to another club because he rejected liverpool's contract offer.

.....BBC gossip saying Ibe is one of 4 Reds players refusing to sign new contracts. That would be interesting, pub Reds currently saying "don't care about Sterling, he's useless compared to Ibe".

Could be amusing if this is the case, not sure who the others are.

That's great cos Skeletor, Ibe, Sterling (wants out), Sturridge (never fit), Gerrard (once upon a time, now going) are their best players. They will miss Gerrard's leadership (and starfish), Sterling's pace, Sturridge's finishing, Death-head's tackling/leadership/pulling opponents down in the area.. They need a rebuild (hopefully by Bren Big Iam Rodgers followed by another one by his successor when he's mucked the job up.

This is spot on. One thing I have learned over the years is that Gerrard is both a snide and a fraud. He acts one way but his true personality is very different.

At various times this season he has briefed the press against the manager. All in the vain hope to undermine him enough to get him sacked and subsequently have a new manager keep him on (or afterwards loan him back). This desire to be loved and the craving for power he has won't go away. He will soon want to be their manager. He will also want to undermine Rodgers in the same way he did with Benitez. Mark my words, within 12 months he'll be angling for a return in some capacity, quite possibly as Dalglish the 2nd as manager.

He berates the RS for not having a tailor made replacement for Gerrard ..having initially said "you cant replace him"....then says spend the money on two top strikers and a top midfielder....then wants as well as a right back or a centre back. No mention of Plug...Gerrard's supposed replacement (cue kopites saying ..no we only meant as captain). Good old Aldo....straight out of central casting as yer thick deluded Kopite.
