There was an interview clip played at half time on the radio today....his droning metronome voice zzzz "Im not one for being the focus and attention....so Id like to apologise to the team for having the attention and focus all on me today. Perhaps a more fitting tribute to Gerrard would be to have the likes of Scholes, Keane, Viera, Makalele, Lampard, Fabregas etc wiped from the history books so Gerrard can actually go down as one of the best in PL history...
