Man City here he comes. The sinking ship is being deserted.

Slippy's influence telling him to sign a contract obviously worked.

BBC BREAKINGBREAKING NEWS

Sterling wants to leave Liverpool

Posted at22:04
Raheem Sterling is expected to tell Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers that he wants to leave Anfield this summer.

The England forward has already turned down a new £100,000-a-week contract, and denied being a "money-grabber" in a BBC Sport interview last month.

Sterling is due to meet Rodgers and Reds chief executive Ian Ayre on Friday, when he is set to tell them he wants to be sold.

The club are determined to keep the 21-year-old, whose contract ends in 2017.

Ha Ha Ha Ha

...first rat off the sinking ship.

Good for him. Thought his treatment at the hands of the club and the red infested media was a disgrace, closer to a mob shakedown than a contract negotiation. Don't know whether he'll be good or the new SWP, but he won't find out with the mid-table outfit he's in now.

I was hoping he'd stay. He's not top class.
