£49M ffs

Everton can field two different sides at Swindon both of which were put together for less than that.. it seems some clubs have far too much money and they don't know how to spend it properly either.

Everton first half team: Howard 3, Jagielka (c) 6, Kone 5, Naismith 0, McCarthy 13, Barkley 0, Deulofeu 4, Pienaar 4, Coleman 60k, Browning 0, Galloway2. 37m

Second half team: Joel 2, Hibbert, Browning, Barry 2, Galloway 2, Besic 4(Kenny, 68),0 Cleverley0, McAleny0, Osman0, Mirallas6, Lukaku28. 44m

Legit.

Poor lad had the world at his feet, only one way he's going after leaving the greatest club on the planet

Just ask Alonso, Mashcarano, Torres, Suarez and Owen

Didn't win a single thing after they left the mighty red men

Wouldn't normally give 'em the clicks but no greater source of comic value is there, than a whinge-bag kopite article.

That is an absolute embarrassment, and the source of it is no surprise. Liverpool are literally the only club that seem to write open letters, because they are bursting at the seams with self-righteous whoppers for fans. An insult to Manchester City too, a club that's actually won something in the last couple of years and isn't cruising on poems and songs about things that happened 25 effing years ago.

"Absolutely. Brilliant business financially for Ward and great business for Liverpool but a car crash in every other way.

City pay 49m instead of the 50m that would have hade the deal done without any of the hassle.

Sterling gets a move to a second tier 'big club' when a decent agent would have got him to sign a new deal at Liverpool with a decent release clause, develop at a club that has shown it cares about young players and maybe in a years time get a move to one of the top tier big clubs who actually win the big prizes.

If he's really the best young prospect in Europe then he should have been aiming for Barca or Real Madrid not Man City, [Poor language removed] it even United or Chelsea have actually won the European Cup and look like doing it again before City ever will. The only reason to move to City now is for the money and the person who has most to gain is Ward.

Sterling has been shafted royally by Aidey Ward but he seems to think he's his mate."
