ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I'm usually extremely pessimistic about derbies, but when we have a decent start, as we seem to be this year, we usually do them in the home game. See 2004, 2006 and 2010 (kind of). Our habit under Moyes of starting seasons poorly has seen us go into the Goodison game usually in really poor shape and then we'd proceed to try for a 0-0 at Anfield.

The one time we were having a strong start to the season (unless I'm forgetting any) and didn't get a result against them was 2013, where we were really unlucky not to win and it was the year they nearly won the league, in fairness.

This may end up being up there with the most regrettable and downright naive posts I've ever written like.

Personally, I won't be happy until we thrash them at Anfield. I mean a real drubbing. 4-0 and the pit with only cheering blues at the final whistle. A shot of a lone Kopite in tears would be the icing on the cake. Get that done Bobby and you will have done more than Moyes's entire career at Everton.

was priveleged to be in the kop for Sharp's goal we battered them

The funny/sad thing about those highlights is how it sounds like a home game. Anfield seemed to be absolutely full of blues that day. Same the game when Andy King scored. Feels like we had the numbers to take over Anfield on those days. Not anymore. Though the lad standing up to clap when Jags scored last year was a bit of blue magic at the pit.

Since the Chelsea game this club has literally slipped into mediocrity. Quite funny really.

Good to see a sense of humour
