ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

One "ITK" knob who I come into contact with re LFC told me that McCallister and O'Driscoll had gone too. The guy's a buffoon and tried telling me on Sunday night that he had been told Friday Rodgers had gone, but didn't want to leak it as it would be unfair on Rodgers pre Sunday.

I don't believe him. I think he was being brave with gobbing off about the other two who were from "the same source". Suffice to say if they stay given that he told me they'd been sacked at the same time as Rodgers I am going to enjoy telling him what a bellend he is.

On the other hand I can't stand "Gary Mac". I would love nothing more than seeing him booted out when he obviously felt he was going to be able to be Caretaker for a bit and make a pitch for a job himself. It would be amazing to see him booted out and treated like dirt by the new fella. Booted out after 3 months and all that. So it's a win win for me.

You didn't really need to be ITK to call this..

Klopps got them over a barrel, he's clearly their first choice, they've sacked their old stooge, if he wants a break clause inserted into his contract he'd get it no problem.

It wouldn't surprise me at all either. Its still a big deal moving leagues/countries like this so having the security to turn tail and head back home without a stain on your record is a good idea in case you can't settle or aren't getting your own way.

Next summers headlines...

Klopp
Kicks
Kop
Into Tuch As he heads back to Dortmund

yeah...but the owners arent that silly

They get players in with the intention of flogging at a profit. If there's a monetary gain to be had from taking the Kloppite on a 1 year deal then I'm sure they'll be happy with it. Managers are as transient as players these days.

MvAllister and O'Dristoll have left the club by the way. Klopp about to be announced
All first team coaches and backroom analysis staff sacked.

It's a root and branch approach. You'd think at least some infrastructure would be retained in the short term until the new regime found its feet.
